Products at Every Level of Specification
WAC is the rare lighting manufacturer that truly offers products along the spectrum. From specification-grade products and systems like Volta and Ventrix to more economical contractor-grade products like the limited series. It would take thousands of words to try and summarize all of WAC's offerings, so we wanted to put together three products that might surprise you.
Ventrix
Ventrix is a 48V track system available recessed, surface mounted, and suspended. Its power supply (known as a CPU) not only delivers power but also sets up how you would like the system configured based on your dimming needs. Ventrix is controllable via the WAC app and via traditional lighting control systems. The CPU is controllable via ELV, 0-10v, Triac and even DMX, depending on the granularity of control you want.
But the real magic of this system is the growing library of elements WAC offers, including linear fixtures for ambient and glare-shielded general illumination, multiple integrated downlight solutions, and, of course, track-style accent lights.
There are even pendant-hung decorative elements for this system. The flexibility makes it a great solution for retail environments that will change seasonally.
Aether Atomic
One-inch downlights have become popular in the last couple of years but have some serious downsides. The most common one is that they are challenging to install. What makes Aether Atomic different is that the housing is essentially just a permanent heat sink and quick connect; no dimming or intelligence lives there. The intelligence of the system lives in the remote power supply. The remote power supply can control up to 6 fixtures with home runs back to the power supply. This eliminates the complications of series wiring that makes it difficult to install and leaves other systems open to contractor error.
Aether Atomic can deliver up to 1000 lumens (we love the black trim for glare reduction). The reflectors are field changeable, and they are easily maintainable. And yes, there's an adjustable and a wall washer.
Twist-N-Lite Mini Flush Mount
This one is a more economy-grade solution. Meet the Twist-N-Light family We've all worked on a multi-family residential project or many a school or office where plenum heights changed, and you suddenly needed a low-cost but nice-looking surface-mounted downlight.
That's why we really like this one from WAC. With 5CCT select and delivering 900 lumens, this little guy mounts right over a j-box and delivers clean efficient downlight at a very competitive price.
