SDA is Thrilled to Welcome Sensorworx!
Advanced Code-Compliant Lighting Controls Made Simple
Sensorworx might just be the fastest-growing lighting controls company in the country. What's driving that growth is a combination of:
- Competitive price points
- High-quality American-made product
- Very fast lead times
- Focusing on easy-to-install lighting control systems
BAA and BABA Compliant Systems Ready To Ship
If you've ever tried to specify an LED in a control system, you know how difficult it can be to put together a bill of materials that makes sense for every use case in a space. Sensorworx aims to eliminate the guesswork from lighting control systems by providing a straightforward kit of parts that addresses approximately 80% of all lighting control needs on projects.
Based in Wallingford, Connecticut, Sensor Works is ready to ship across the country quickly. And because the systems are easy to install, they are a favorite among electrical contractors, electrical engineers, and designers who are familiar with the components.
Emphasis on Service
In our meetings with Scott Peterson, our regional partner with Sensorworx, he emphasized the company's drive to be a service-first company. Mentioning that when you call Sensorworx, you don't get an automated line, you get a real person, and when you make a call like that, you're given that person's extension so that you can reach out to them again if there's a problem on site. They want to ensure that every job, from specification to installation and post-installation, is successful for the specifiers, contractors, and end-users.
Refreshing, right?
Built for Now and Developing the Future
Sensorworx's current offering goes toe-to-toe with any legacy lighting control system you can think of from any of the major controls brands. It includes wired and wireless solutions for single areas. This is more than enough to cover 80% of the typical lighting controls projects out there. However, Sensorworx isn't done innovating. Phase II of their rollout includes digital products meant for multiple rooms, and later next year, we'll see a digital networking solution.
We are so excited to work with Sensorworx as they develop their new lines of products because we see these entering commercial, retail, education, multifamily residential, and healthcare spaces rapidly as we introduce them to more and more specifiers, distributors, contractors, and even end users.
If you want to get a sense for how easy Sensorworx makes it to build code-compliant lighting control systems, take a look at the application guides they've published on their website.
My favorite, of course, is the New York City Energy Code guide. This 44-page PDF gives you a design guide for basically any space you'll encounter that falls under the New York City energy code.
You can find all the guides on their website. Or you can book a presentation with us. We can't wait to help you build simple, powerful lighting controls into your next job.
